World Malaria Day is April 25th. Share the good news with your church!

When it comes to malaria, kids often 'get it' before adults do… and they want to help! Teach and inspire the young people in your town with this resource packet.

Download resources and help your congregation spread the word through a community pancake feast. Have a bite to eat, stop a bit that kills!

When your church learns about Imagine No Malaria or takes a special offering, choose worship elements that go with this theme.

Discovering God in Film

Feb 10, 6:00pm

Columbia District Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference

The Columbia District Lay Leadership Team invites you to a conversation about film and theology: the first in a series of “digging deeper” events as our district engages in deeper dialogue about faith! This exciting weekend will begin with an evening session on Friday at the Bagdad Theater. This informal conversation will focus on favorite films, questions of faith, and how cinema has changed over time. Saturday’s theme is “Postmodern Faith and Postmodern Film." We will spend the day learning about postmodernism in faith and view a number of substantial clips from a variety of films. Our speaker for both events is Dr. Bryan P. Stone, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Boston University School of Theology, and author of Faith and Film: Theological Themes at the Cinema.
