Event Planning Resources
Want to plan a special event for Imagine No Malaria? These resources can help to get you started.
RETHINK Event Planning Workbook- 2013: This workbook was developed by ReThink Church in Nashville, and it’s a good place to start with your event planning. Don’t be overwhelmed! Not everything in the handbook will apply to your event. It paints with a broad brush and mentions many options.
Sample Newsletter Article GNW: Let people know about your upcoming event with an article in your church, district, and conference newsletters! We also love publishing articles about events here on the INM website. This sample newsletter allows you to share the details about your event without re-inventing the wheel.
Generic press release: Many newspapers and radio stations make announcements about community events. You can add the specifics about your event to this document and then share it with your local news companies.
Race Planning Handbook: Many people have enjoyed planning and participating in 5Ks to benefit Imagine No Malaria. If you want to plan your own 5K (or fun run, or 10K, or marathon…) start here! This handbook has advice, a budget template, and– best of all– a comprehensive checklist that will help you meet your goals on time.
