It was announced this week that Camp Magruder in Rockaway Beach, Oregon, and Twinlow United Methodist Camp & Retreat Center in Rathdrum, Idaho, both camps made Newsweek’s list of the 500 Best Summer Camps<\/a>, selected from over 12,000 options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are proud of our camps and the staff teams and volunteers that make them the great places they are. Maintaining the standards, quality, and creativity that goes into making a camp great is not easy,” said Alan Rogstad, PNW Conference camping executive. “It is exciting to know these camps are recognized as being among the best!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are\u00a0very proud of those who worked faithfully at Camp Magruder to live out our mission. Our commitment to accepted standards, Christian hospitality, and the value of each camper as a beloved child of God, while challenging is worth it, because we know we are making a positive impact on their lives and in turn the world,” said Rev.
