Madison, N.J. – The General Commission on Archives and History is calling for students and researchers to apply for grants and awards offered in a number of fields of study, including United Methodist history, particulary as it relates to women and ethnic groups, and archival science. The scholarships will be awarded for the 2023-2024 school year.
Ten grants and/or awards are available for qualifying undergraduates or graduate-level students, as well as researchers of all kinds. The complete list, along with details about applying, can be found at gcah.org. The deadline for applications is March 17, 2023.

The General Commission on Archives and History (GCAH), organized in 1968, is one of the general agencies of The United Methodist Church, with offices located in the Archives & History Center. GCAH assists local churches and Annual Conferences through publications, workshops, research services, and other programs. The Commission maintains relationships with the five Jurisdictional Commissions on Archives and History, the Central Conferences, the World Methodist Historical Society, the World Methodist Council, and the Charles Wesley Society.
