The Western Jurisdiction Course of Study winter and spring courses are open for registration now for local pastors.

Each of the four-week courses are being offered over Zoom this winter and spring, with the deadline for the first set of courses being Dec. 15. Download the schedule of courses here.

All 20 required classes will be offered over the next year, according to Rev. Dr. Faith Conklin, director of the WJ Course of Study and there are new faculty and returning faculty to help facilitate this.

“Thank you for your patience, prayers and support as we continue to navigate these uncertain days,” Conklin said.

Course offerings this winter and spring range from administration and polity to congregational care to Bible V: Acts & Epistles, among other topics.

The cost for each class is $400, plus a $10 registration fee. Pre-class requirements will be posted after the first of the year. There must be a minimum of five students in order to hold a class. Conklin said the WJ Course of study hopes to offer hybrid (Zoom and in-person) courses in the summer and fall.

A registration form is available to download here.
