In partnership with Discipleship Ministries, the worship team from the United Methodist Creation Justice Movement has released a three-week worship series called “How Then Shall We Live?” for use in Eastertide 2024.

Written by clergy and laity from across the connection, including several from the Pacific Northwest Conference, the series includes prayers and other liturgical resources, preaching notes, sermon illustrations, a communion liturgy, music suggestions, children’s resources, and much more. The series is based on the lectionary texts from 1 John and explores how the people of God are called to live as Easter people, in concert and harmony with all of Creation.

Local worship teams are encouraged to adapt and use the materials in ways that fit their context. If you have questions or need more information, please contact Laura Baumgartner at pastorlaura@hallerlakeumc.org
