We are pleased to announce that registration for the 2022 Five-Day Academy for Spiritual Formation has re-opened! The dates are July 10 – 15, 2022, at the Archbishop Brunett Retreat Center at Palisades in Federal Way, Washington. Join us in weaving our personal stories with God’s ongoing story of redemption as we deepen our faith and ministries to a world hungry for meaning.

A professor of New Testament studies at Seattle University, Leticia Guardiola-Saenz will use some principles of Ignatian spirituality and Narrative therapy as we approach the parables of Jesus with an autobiographical lens.

Ray Buckley, Interim Director for the Center for First Nations Spirituality, will guide us in finding meaning in the events of our lives, our cultures, and our faiths. He says the story of ourselves is located in the distilling of memory into what is meaningful and then communicating that meaning as grace to others.

Space is limited, so be sure to register as soon as possible. Information regarding COVID protocols will be sent out to all registrants when we get closer to the date.

For any questions about registration, contact Karen Fisher at kmfishwoman@nwi.net. And if you have questions about the retreat itself, feel free to e-mail me at suemagrath@msn.com. We hope to see you there.

Sincerely,

Sue Magrath, Team leader
